Handcrafting takes time
After the approval of the design, surface preparation, individual layers of painting and final protection follow. Each layer must have time to dry. It is therefore important to know the date, type of casket and operational requirements of the funeral service as soon as possible for custom painting.
When time is short, it may be safer to choose a ready-made original in stock or a simpler personal addition. The point is not to create as many details as possible, but to prepare a decent whole that can be finished with quality under the given conditions.
The finished work belongs to the story of the family
Before handing over, the color, continuity of the motif and the overall condition are checked. A photograph of the finished casket can be kept by the family as a record of a jointly named memory. This creates an original whose value lies not only in the painting, but in the story it carries.
