Current settings
The website does not use analytical or marketing cookies during basic browsing and does not contain Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Therefore, the annoying consent bar is not displayed when entering. If this setting changes, we will modify the page and the consent mechanism before launching the new service.
YouTube only after you click
The embedded video is pre-blocked. The YouTube/Google domain is contacted only after you have actively clicked the "Load Video" button. Once loaded, YouTube may store or read its own identifiers and process technical data according to its terms. If you don't want to load the video, you don't have to refuse anything — just don't click the button.
Facebook and Instagram
Social network icons are ordinary links. The site does not load Facebook or Instagram embeds until you click them. After switching to a social network, its own privacy rules apply.
Obituary Editor
The editor works in your browser. Neither the embedded photo nor the resulting PDF are sent to the server and marketing cookies are not required for this function.

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party technologies may limit the functionality of external video, but the core content of the site will remain available.
